 Banner with trophies

St☆r Sp☆ngled B☆nner is a red-tri Baussie, with lots of drive and physical talent, and a big personality to match.  She got her name because her mother was a red & white Border Collie and her father was a blue-merle Australian Shepherd, making her a true Red, White & Blue girl.  Besides her favorite pasttime – playing frisbee – Banner enjoys swimming, hiking and hanging out with her friends.  Banner truly loves performing, and particularly likes doing stadium shows – she starts barking with excitement when we pull up to unload our gear, and she loves to bark in the tunnel before we take the field – maybe she likes the echo?  Banner is also proud of her exceptionally floofy tail.

Banner has competed all over the USA,  in World Championship events in Europe and North America and she has won several State Championships here in Colorado.

Djinn with sacrifice

Blue Djinn Dragon is a blue heeler mix who came to us from Mountain Pet Rescue.  His young mother and her litter of 9 puppies were found under a house just before a big winter storm, and we are so glad they were rescued just in time by some wonderful people!  We were lucky enough to meet him as a puppy and immediately fell in love. Djinn has grown into an amazing dog and he apparently has decided that being a frisbee superstar is a good life for him. He loves flying through the air, catching frisbees, and destroying them – and he is great at all three!

Djinn’s likes include hiking, playing tug, pizza and snuggling on the sofa.  He dislikes being petted (yes, really!) and having people near his car.  Djinn is a fun, quirky, wonderful dog to live with!

Djinn has performed for the Broncos, Rockies, Outlaws, Nuggets and many others, and he has joined Banner, Banzai and Rider in the list of FLYNDOGS who have won Colorado State Championships!

    Hella skying for the disc

Hella came to us as a rescue from a shelter in Iowa, through a friend.  Hella is a black-tri Aussie with intensity to spare and she has a natural talent for leaping high and catching all. the. things.

Like many rescue dogs, Hella came to us with some issues, but with lots of love, time, patience and consistent, positive training she is finding herself and coming into her own.

Hella is doing well in competition and has performed at some high-profile shows for the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets and Rugby League International.  She is a rising star and we are enjoying tagging along with her!

A dog and his boy

Archer is a handsome black-tri Aussie boy who came to us through Western Australian Shepherd Rescue, and he has decided the frisbee dog life is the life for him!

Archer gets teased a lot by his buddies because of his stunning good looks, and his nicknames include El Guapo, Fabio, and the Handsomest Frisbee Dog in the World.  But they are just jealous, because this boy is the total package!

Archer has done some high-profile shows for the Broncos and the Outlaws, as well as many smaller events.  He is quickly becoming a fantastic frisbee dog, and he is an absolute clown at home and keeps us laughing!

Banzai-trophy-thumb

Banzai is a Border Collie/ Cattle Dog mix. She is retired from competition and performance now, but still enjoys catching some plastic once in a while.  Banzai had a long and successful disc dog career and she is spending her retirement being spoiled by her humans, doing pretty much anything she wants and bossing her family members around.

Banzai is a 3-time State Freestyle Champion and a 10-time World Finalist. She is a UFO European Throw & Catch Champion and UFO World Cup Long Distance Champion.  Banzai has performed in hundreds of shows all over Colorado, the USA and the world. Her passport includes Korea, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and the Netherlands.

Dharmasmall

Dharma is a red & white Baussie with an extensive repertoire of cool tricks.  She is retired from performance now and enjoying her life of leisure.  She enjoys pestering Banzai, eating pizza and doing tricks for treats.

In her spare time, there is nothing Dharma likes better than chasing squirrels and barking at them once they are treed.  She also loves to hike and wrestle with her packmates.

Of course, we would be terribly remiss not to mention the MANY talented dogs and humans who have helped us out over the years!  We couldn’t have done it without you.  For fear of forgetting someone, we will not list names, but know that your contributions have helped us grow and we treasure the fun times we’ve had with all of you!
